This is my great grandmother, Anna Lucille Zito and great grandfather Raymond Henry Bricault. They married June 21, 1911 at St. Joseph's Church in Saginaw, MI. Raymond Henry Bricault is the son of Frederick and Rose Bricault. Anna Lucille Zito is the daughter of John and Marie Zito. I never met my great grandfather, as he died August 29, 1973. I do remember my great grandma Bricault. I remember her playing piano, I remember how she didn't like me playing with her nice dolls, or borrowing her pillow. :)  I remember she always wore dresses and nylons, even in the hot summer. Overall, she was a nice great, grandma. She died on May 3, 1985.

Frederick Joseph Bricault, born 1845

This is my great, great grandfather, Frederick Joseph Bricault, born on July 5, 1845 in Montreal, Canada. Trade - Blacksmith. Died March 25, 1917. Buried at Mount Olivet Cemetary in Saginaw, MI with his wife. He was known as Ferdinand Bricault.

Ferdinand married Rose Anna Delude May 14, 1871 at St. Andrew's Church in Saginaw, MI. The blacksmith shop was located at the SE corner of Michigan Ave. and Clark St. in Saginaw, MI.

Loraine Mary Owens 23 Years old - 1936

My paternal grandma, Loraine Mary Owens (born Bricault), b. November 8, 2013.  d. May 27, 2008.  This picture was scanned and given to my dad with the file name 1936.jpg, that would make her 23 years old, one year before she married my grandpa, Thomas Aloysious Owens (b. June 21, 1913, d. April 18, 1992) on September 25, 1937. 



I am not sure what the occasion was for the photo, I would think back then taking a studio photograph would be a special occasion.  Perhaps it was part of engagement photos, I don't know if people did that then, or when they were engaged?  I love the slight peachy color in the cheeks and lips.
